FLIGHT: Prince Edward County’s Festival of Contemporary Dance
FLIGHT evening program includes: José Limón's iconic Dances for Isadora, danced by the stunning Kristen Foote; The Earth Calls Out, by Taino-Cree Shapeshifter, hoop dancer Beany John (August 20 & 21) and Mississauga of the Credit First Nation hoop dancer Kyle LaForme (Aug 19); her body as words, created by Order of Canada recipient Peggy Baker, danced by the exquisite Syreeta Hector; local County residents, Ritmo Flamenco, performing Mujer Salvaje; and three works by esteemed choreographer Carol Anderson, including a world premiere addressing the pain of stolen children, with live accompaniment by phenomenal pianist Erik Geddis.

About this event
The Flight Festival invites interested local PEC community members to dance alongside seasoned professionals in a beautiful movement meditation, scored by Julia Aplin and Carol Anderson, with live music by Miranda Rix-Hayes and Erik Geddis.
